1st Active roofing carried out roof repairs to this bungalow in Wickersley, Rotherham, involving re-bedding of more than eighty ridge tiles.
We carefully removed and set aside the existing ridge tiles, before clearing all of the old mortar. We then applied a fresh mortar mix of three parts sand, one part sharp sand and one part cement. After applying the mortar, we re-bedded the original ridge tiles firmly back into place.
