1st Active roofing carried out a replacement of the dry verges of this property in Handsworth, Sheffield.
We removed the loose, existing dry verges, which had been badly fitted by being screwed onto the mortar. We then removed the cement fillet and screw fitted a new 2×1 timber, directly onto the existing roof timbers. After correcting the underlying structure, we were able to fit new dry verges into place, screwing each one to the timber.
